As Ayushmann Khurrana’s Bala released today, the actor goes behind the table and becomes the ticket seller. At a Mumbai theatre, the actor was spotted selling tickets to those who came to buy tickets.
Ayushmann Khurrana, Yami Gautam and Bhumi Pednekar’s Bala has made its way to the theatres today. The film has been showered with a lot of love and appreciation from the critics for its out-of-the-box context. Not just the critics, even the viewers are loving this unique film. However, it seems like the film will set the cash registers ringing this time. No, no, not because of the responses from the critics as well as from the audience, it is because of Ayushmann Khurrana who has become the ticket seller this time. Well, the actor who is Delhi flocked a movie theatre to see the audiences’ reactions.
So much so that, the actor actually goes behind the table and becomes the ticket seller who is selling the movie tickets for his own film. Along with Ayushmann, producer Dinesh Vijan is also seen helping the actor at the ticket counter. Before Bala was released, the film was mired with a lot of controversies which includes Bhumi Pednekar becoming dark-skinned for her character while another one was the concept of the film which was pretty similar to Sunny Singh's Ujda Chaman that got them into a legal spat. However, amid all this, the film has managed to garner a good response and now, all the eyes are on its opening day collections.
Meanwhile, SpotboyE.com Editor Vickey Lalwani rated this film 4 stars. Praising Ayushmann Khurrana for his quirky and affable mannerisms, he raised a toast to Bhumi Pednekar and Yami Gautam for giving the Article 15 actor a run for their money.
